	The English-language publication of this book was done due to the efforts of famous philosophers and researchers of the Holocaust – “a Christian from Clermont” John Roth and “a Jew from Washington" Michael Berenbaun. "We were planning to draw attention to the works that were repeatedly quoted by researchers of the Holocaust,” they said in their book. So the book contains articles of more than 20 famous Jewish and Christian philosophers, thinkers, literary men, mostly those who personally experienced the man-hating deeds of the fascists and their concentration camps and ghettos. They write on the Holocaust – the evil attempt at final destruction of the European Jewry by the Hitler Nazis during the period of 1939–1945. The Ukrainian version of this book was published on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the Babiy Yar tragedy. It sums up the topic of sufferings and pain that befell the Jewish nation in the ХХ century.

	“Prayers of Those Who Do Not Pray” shows the views of Korchak's tragic pedagogics, its so-called theoretical concept – and its endless, up to heroic Utopism, humanistic practice. This is an original genre of presenting his ethic views. The cover of the book presents a fragment of a child's picture from the Terezin concentration camp.

	Более двух десятков известных и христианских философов, мыслителей, литераторов, в основном тех, кто был свидетелем человеконенависнической деятельности фашистких концлагерей и гетто, свидетельствуют о Холокосте - злодейском опыте полного уничтожения европейского еврейства нацистами в период 1939-1945 гг. Украинское издание этой книги, осуществленное накануне 60-летия трагедии Бабьего Яра, как бы подводит итоги тему горя и боли, что выпали на долю еврейского народа в "цивилизованном 20 веке".
