| A fancy many-page calendar includes old Jewish photographs and documents from the archives of the Jewish Studies Institute. They were taken in special studios with decorations that existed in every town and city; their composition is excellent and technically they are flawless. The photographs are devoted to important events and family dates: traditional holidays, birthdays, weddings, graduation, etc. Among them are also portraits of rabbis, merchants, engineers, lawyers, military, teachers, married couples, parents surrounded by children, family clans of many people that sometimes cover 3-4 generations, graduates of Jewish schools and soldiers of the First World War. |

| The first calendar was the symbol poster of the 9th international conference “Jewish History and Culture in Countries of Central and Eastern Europe" by Olga Rapai-Markish (“Carnival”). Another one was illustrated with the picture of ritual aromatic box “Bsamim”. The third one – with “Mizrach”, decoration on canvas by Maria and Svitlana Karevas. |

The first of them was timed to the 8th international conference “Jewish History and Culture in Countries of Central and Eastern Europe” and illustrated with the ritual picture of a lion from the decoration of the Hodorov synagogue.
Another calendar was published together with the Jewish Community Center “Mishpochah” and JOINT and illustrated with the picture of a ceramic menorah by À. Illinsky.
The third calendar was illustrated with silver ritual aromatic box in the form of a sunflower (Ukraine, second quarter of the Õ²Õ century).
The fourth calendar contains a copy of the work of Kiev ceramist O. Rapai-Markish “Jacob's Staircase”. Forty copies of the calendar were published. Practically every Jewish family in the region received a copy on the eve of the New Year (Rosh Hashanah).
