«YEHUPETS» ¹13 begins with the publication of Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee David Harris “Letter of Forgotten Jew” in Natalya Velbovets’ translation.

It includes the work of Yanus Korchak “Children of the Bible. Moses” in Alexander Irvanez’ translation from Polish; the “Poem with Two Heroes” of Inna Lisova; a collection of Rilke’s poems in Moses Fisbein’s translation; the “Disnevsky Charld Harold” poem by little known Yiddish poet Moishe Kulbak in Valeria Boguslavskaya’s translation; the article of Yohanan Petrovsky-Stern “Isaac Babel: Language and Myth of ‘Odessa Stories’” devoted to the interaction of cultures and languages in Isaac Babel’s works; an article of Shimon Markish on the work of Vyacheslav Ivanov, the article of Vyacheslav Ivanov “Catalonia IR VE IR” on the Jewish influence on Spanish culture. The almanac also includes the first publications of the speeches of Victor Nekrasov and his little novel “Personal Case of Communist Yufa”. Selim Yalkut tells of the destinies of Rabbi Bentsion Tverski, artist Abram Balazovsky, and scholar Baraboy.

The illustrated section “Arts” includes articles of Yakov Berdichevsky “Jewish Scribes of Ukraine”, Galina Sklyarenko on the Kiev-based artist Leonid Turovetsky, Yevgenia Tsimbala on the fate of brothers Boris and David Kaufman, Oleg Sidor-Gibelinda on the works of Bruno Shultz; and an interview of Bogdana Kozachenko with arts expert and collector Igor Dichenko.
