INNA LESOVAYA

Inna Lesovaya was born in 1947 in Kiev.

She began to draw, mould and make toys in an early childhood.

She is better known as a painter in Moscow. There she graduated from the graphics department of the Moscow Polygraph Institute, where such artists as Andrey Goncharov, Benjamin Bason, and Yury Budjelyan taught.

In 1991 in Moscow, she had her only great personal exhibition organized by the editorial board of the “Our Heritage” journal.

Before and after this exhibition Inna was offered to organize exhibitions in Paris (“Katya Granoff” Gallery), in Brussels, and other cities.

In Kiev, Inna Lesovaya has not had many exhibitions. Here, she was known more as a sculptor-toy-maker. Over the past 20 years, toys made according to Inna’s models could be seen in every Ukrainian house.

Currently, Inna Lesovaya is mostly known in Kiev as a writer.

On March 28 ́àđ̣à, 2002, her first personal exhibition in Ukraine opened at the “Tadzio” Gallery.
